My read at Home Book 5. As this is an independent series it can be use in conjunction with any reading programme for 5th Class.

The aim of My Read at Home Book 5 is to develop reading fluency and comprehension skills by encouraging daily independent reading at home. The book cosists of 120 single page units arranged into 30 sections one per week of the school year Each page or day is a stand alone piece with a variety of styles and themes to appeal to all tastes and interests.Genres such as fact, fiction, letter writing, poetry humour, history, geography, nature and legend are included.
A key element of promoting literacy i.e daily practice is achieved effectively.

Children are assigned one page of reading for homework each day of the week except Friday.
