You will receive an email from High Street Books with your updated status
Once your parcel reaches An Post hub later that evening, you will receive an email directly from An Post with your tracking information.
Once you receive this email delivery usually take approximately 1-2 working days.
You can amend the expected delivery day and address using the tracking link, sent by An Post, before the expected delivery date.
Ideally a parcel is delivered to you personally. You then confirm the parcel acceptance with your signature on the handheld scanner of the delivery driver. Another member of your household can also accept your parcel on your behalf.
What happens if I miss a delivery?
You have a number of options available if you miss a delivery:
Collect your item by bringing your ‘sorry we missed you notice’ (also called a Docket In Box or DIB notice) and personal identification, such as a driver’s licence, to your local Delivery Service Unit
Nominate an agent to collect the item on your behalf. You (the addressee) must sign the ‘sorry we missed you’ notice and the agent must have this and their own identification in order to collect the item
