You can select to ship to a home or work address.

Delivery Cost

Enjoy Free Delivery anywhere in Ireland on orders over €100 from highstreetbooks.ie. For orders under €100, a €6.50 postage fee applies.

United Kingdom & Europe- We do not currently ship outside of Ireland.

Order Processing Time

Online orders are processed from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
Your order will be prepared for dispatch from our warehouse within approximately 5 working days. Once dispatched you will receive an update by email.

If your order includes an item marked "Awaiting Stock" due within a few weeks, we’ll wait to ship everything together. If the delay is longer, we’ll send the rest of your order first and the delayed item separately once it’s back in stock.

Home Delivery – Delivery by Courier

We deliver within Ireland using An Post's courier service. You'll receive an email from us once your parcel leaves our warehouse, followed by a tracking email from An Post when it reaches their hub. Track your delivery anytime at anpost.ie.

Delivery from when you receive the tracking information takes approximately one to two working days.

Orders take 2–3 working days to prepare and are held for up to 7 days due to limited storage space.
Total cost: As orders are not pre-scanned, the final cost is calculated when you check out in-store.

Courier

We use An Post's registered delivery service for orders within Ireland.

    Signature Required: Please ensure someone is available to accept the delivery.
    Delivery Notes: Notes like "Leave in porch" will be added to the box, but we cannot guarantee they will be followed as a signature may still be required.
    Reliability: Deliveries are successful 99% of the time, but occasional errors can occur

Packaging

We use minimal packaging while ensuring your items arrive in perfect condition. Our packaging is made from FSC-certified 100% recycled paper (post-consumer waste), and we also reuse boxes and packaging from suppliers.

Once your order arrives, please compare the items to your invoice. We recommend double-checking your school booklist to ensure you have everything needed for the school year.
